Superintendent's Message

December 2016

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and the Board of Education, I would like to extend best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year to the entire RBR community. Thus far, we have enjoyed a very productive school year at RBR. In the Board office, we are busy working on implementing the goals established by the Strategic Planning Committee all last year. (For more details, please see the update on our website.)  One major objective is to maintain strong communication with our communities and families.  In support of this goal, a Student Advisory Board (SAB) has been established.  In monthly meetings, student leaders come together to share ideas and work with the administration on school-wide initiatives.  The SAB recently discussed plans to initiate a Public Policy Forum in which non-partisan experts would be invited to speak on important issues facing young people and our society.  In addition, I would like to extend an open invitation to parents to join me for coffee and conversation on  the following dates and locations: 3/23 - St. Anthony's of Padua,, Red Bank at 7:00 p.m., April 8 and May 13 locations to be determined.

Sincerely,

Louis Moore, Superintendent
